FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to stay in contact with large and small animal Veterinarians in the area to stay informed on disease and nutrition. I also have a close relationship with local trainers and keep my ears and eyes open when getting advice from them. I read nation wide articles published by Vets and Trainers to stay up on the newest treatments and trainings. Everyday these animals here teach me more and more about trust and affiliation!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I once worked at a Vet Tech and as fulfilling as that profession was I decided to work with well animals on behavior instead. I have full respect for Veterinarians and Technicians and know that they are very important in helping keep our animals healthy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Boarding and Grooming are the most common. Some clients bring their pets just for a couple of days to burn off energy. Apartment dwelling dogs benefit from this the most as like I said earlier they are still animals, large or small, they need to act as animals to be fulfilled.
