Introduction

We Teach Okinawan Karate, the way it is taught in Okinawa. Our instructors visit and train in Okinawa regularly. I enjoy it very much. Not only do i develope my own skills but I help others achieve their goals and also teach them something valuable that will be with them all their life.

If you are looking for the best self defense classes around your search is over! Absolute Seibukan Karate offers you traditional Okinawan karate handed down by the original masters, unchanged by western influence. It doesn't matter if you are looking for your child or yourself, you will not find betteror more patient teachers anywhere. Classes focus on training the body and mind, and give you the tools and confidence to achieve your goals in and outside of the dojo. Everybody is treated with respect and given individual attention to ensure success. I've gone for almost two years and take my 6 year old daughter now and we both love it. I have lost 32 lbs since I began and no longer need meds for my blood pressure. You start coming to classes to learn martial arts ( and believe me you do!) but end up training with friends. I couldn't believe I had finally found a dojo that was concerned with passing on knowledge and tradition, and not charging someone an arm and a leg. I can't praise this school and all of it's instructors enough. They were simply taught the right way to do things and pass that on to everyone they encounter. I've known Glenn and James well over a decade and spent several years training with them. I've always known them to be genuine people and generous with their time and energy. The time I spent at the karate school greatly impacted my life and I continue to use the knowledge and skills I learned there. I gained a confidence I couldn't have found anywhere else. They teach a powerful style with a long history and rich tradition. They challenge you physically and mentally, accepting nothing less than your personal best. But what I valued most was the warm, friendly environment. I felt more like a friend than a customer from day one. I met the Goertz family through the school and continue to be friends with them all these years later.

I've been a student of Sensei James Goertz for over a decade and every ounce of success I've achieved during my training, I owe to him. He serves as an example to follow for any student interested in the martial arts. His ability to convey the teachings of traditional Okinawan karate is practical and easy to understand. I'm certain that training with him will result in effortless power, intense focus in and outside of the dojo, and the fulfillment of good character. Teaching Good quality martial arts. Helping students acheive their goals, such as fitness, self-defense, self- confidence. We help a student gain power and speed through proper body mechanics no matter what body type.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that the school is chartered or belongs to an association and that they are legit. There are many schools out there that have no "roots". No real teacher which would show that they have not had correct training and would not be teaching a good quality martial art.
