- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad gave me my first camera when I was 5, this old clunky Kodak hand me down. I loved it, each flash bulb only had 4 flashes on it... Ever since then I've been hooked, in high school I started taking senior pictures for my friends, lugging a camera around school with me most of the time. I went to college, intending to teach and ended up majoring in Photography. I love meeting people, I feel like by the time I end a photo shoot I really know the person, and I hope that translates onto film. - Christi
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One of the great things about our online print ordering and gallery set up is the fact that customers can see a large sample of work. This gives a patron a very clear idea of what to expect. Of course all photographers are going to put their best work in galleries, on the front page of the website and on facebook. Being able to peek behind the scenes to take a look at what you are going to end up with is invaluable.
