FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm all about value and satisfying my client. Customers receive the best value for their money. If one of my packages (shoot plus prints and downloads) doesn't fit for them, I will customize something that does. I never want someone to miss having their newborn, family or generation pictures not done because of the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers call to set the appointment, discuss what they are looking for, and receive instructions regarding what to wear/bring, expect. We talk about color, setting, background, props if appropriate and any special needs or considerations. The photo shoot experience is completely customized for each client, with backgrounds, props or locations selected just for or by them. I don't rush the shoot or overbook. Most proofs really have quite a bit of editing done to them. Final edits, when needed, are always included. And, 24 hour turnaround is available most of the time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a college degree in Consumer Studies from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. This means I can listen and respond. I have 25 years experience in corporate management. This means I can provide excellent customer service. I have 2.5 years studying at the Art Academy, with a Master Photographer and taking various photography and editing courses. This means I am current with photography skills and techniques. I am always learning . . .
