Vickie Morris Home Staging

Introduction: Consultation is the aspect of staging I have done most. I meet with the client to conduct an interview to determine their budget, timeline for selling their home to assess their staging needs and to take before photos. I, then, write up a comprehensive staging plan and meet with them again to go over the plan. This process can take three or more hours, depending on the client's staging needs and the size of the home. From this point, the client and I determine if my assistance is needed to complete the project. I can help them with furniture and accessory arrangement. I can also work with other trades people on their behalf to complete projects. My fee is $35.00 per hour. I am very conservitive with the homeowner's money and try to recommend using their furniture and accessories as often as possible. Since the first and most important step in staging is to clean, de-clutter, and depersonalize, this can take time but there is very little money involved. I feel that part of my job is to educate the homeowner about what it takes to sell a house in today's challenging market.
