FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually like to give the customer a flat rate or bid for each job. But sometimes it's not possible to give the customer a bid so I work for what's called T and M (time and materials). This is a rate of $90 for the first hour and $65 every hour after. that covers my travel time, gas, me, and my helper. This does not include materials. I guarantee my work and any material purchased by me for 12 months.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually come to your home and look at the job. I will then go over with you, exactly what I will do to complete the job. At that time I will give you an estimate. We will then work out all the details such as who supplies material, when I will start, and expected completion date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed 4 years of school at Northern Kentucky Tech. Afterwards I took the test to become a journeyman in the state of Kentucky. In the state of Kentucky you must complete a continuing education class every year in order to keep your license.
