Tom is a very nice and knowledgeable about piano tuning. He has done it for 50 years. The church baby grand was badly out of tune. Tom worked for over 2 hours and got it to a 432 range and is coming back on November 1st to complete the job. He also gave advice on proper care of the piano. I highly recommend Tom White for any of your piano needs.

Tom was very friendly and worked very efficiently. I had him put together 15 or so new pieces of furniture (something that would have taken my husband and I a couple weeks to do! ) Tom even went out of his way and went to a hardware store to find a missing bolt that came out of my sons crib during the move!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A basic tuning is $125.00.Estimates are at no charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I contact the customer or have them call me to get as much information as I can to prepare for a job. If it calls for an estimate I like pictures of the item. This way I can give them a more accurate estimate. If it is a tuning job, I will set a time and get an address.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a piano technician assistant for 2 years before stating my own business. I then opened a music retail business for 14 years. I tuned and rebuilt pianos at concerts, colleges, churches, and homes. I have been doing this for about 45 years now.
