Introduction: I have played in a band in the past and have been doing this for around 9 years now so I know what music should sound like. I've been able to DJ many wedding receptions over that time so I feel I have the ability to provide guidance where needed, but as the same time really listen to what the wedding couple wants. I also feel that I have the most complete array of music so I'm going to have most anything people would want to hear and dance to. Being able to connect with people. Sometimes it's pulling out a song people haven't heard in years and getting them on the dance floor. It may be that song playing and you see the person sitting at the table tapping their foot or singing along.

Brent was a fabulous DJ for our wedding! After one short meeting, he was able to get in tune with our musical taste. Brent came to the rehersal dinner and made the entire night flow smoothly from playing every song at the right moment to playing different versions of the wedding march to make sure we liked the tempo. Brent stayed the entire time and played the music until everyone was comfortable with the run throughs. The day of the wedding Brent set up at two locations (ceremony and reception space). The music he played brought everyone to the dance floor. In addition to being a great DJ, he kept the night on a schedule and made sure each activity(bouquet toss, cake cutting, dances, etc.) was fulfilled before the crowd started to disipate. I would highly recommend him for any DJ service you are interested in. It was a pleasure getting to work with Brent and I can assure you, you are making a fabulous choice for a Dj service if you book Brent!

Brent Boothe gave us an amazing wedding ceremony and reception. He is easy to get a hold of, easy to talk to, and very accommodating. We have him a list of songs to play at the reception and they were all heard. He truly helped our ceremony and reception run smoothly and without any glitches. Brent is easygoing and keeps the party happening! I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family. A 5 star experience from this DJ!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing Is usually based on 4 hours of music. If you need music for the wedding then the time starts, but there is some dead period between the wedding and reception where time stops. Pay for setting up and tearing down is just rolled into that price so I can take my time with both and it doesn't cost the client because of time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I played in a couple bands for a while and got tired of it. It got to where you couldn't depend on band mates to show up for things. I had the equipment and still had the love of music so I thought I would give djing a try. Now 9 years at it I'm still going and doing more and more events.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do any type of event where someone would need PA equipment, music, and lights. I especially like wedding receptions, but have music for most any type of event. I get clean versions of today's hip hop songs so I can, and do several, events for schools.
