- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is super simple and is set up to provide a higher level of service to you as a client of Jordan Photography. Firstly we would like to meet in person so that we can get a feel for your personality and discuss all of the details of your engagement session and wedding day. Another reason for this consultation is so that we can discuss how you’d like to display your portraits whether that be as a gallery wrapped prints or mounted and framed by one of our professional affiliate printing companies. You can even SEND ME PHOTOS OF YOUR HOME so that when we take your pictures I can design a gallery JUST FOR YOU and get the right artwork hung in your living spaces. Custom wall art galleries start at $530.00 and all products are available al la carte. Next is the big day!! We’ll meet up at the spot, have a great time doing pictures and getting just the right shots… paying special attention to the details we worked out in the planning meeting and shooting specifically for the way that you would like to display your artwork. We’ll make sure that your portraits go with the spaces we discussed, using all of the creative tools and knowledge I have available! After your shoot/wedding day I’ll come home, upload and backup your files and get to work editing all of the very best photos from the day's photo shoot! About two weeks after that I’d like to meet with you again and deliver you your gallery! We will sit down and do a reveal of your portrait and take the time to really pick just the right ones for you to display and give as gifts! The digital negative comes with any of the purchased portraits will be yours complete with a full print release however, our print vendors are reputable, vetted and are the industry standard for quality and service! Finally!!!! It's installation day! After all of that, about 3-4 weeks after your reveal session I will come over, hand deliver your artwork, AND HANG IT ON YOUR WALL!! This is something I look forward to almost as much as you because it really is a happy time. You and your family can step out of the room, I will install your wall art gallery and then… THE BIG REVEAL! That moment when you see what we’ve made together really is my favorite part! Your artwork will look so good in your home that I might even cry! :-) We'd like you to know just how dedicated we are to providing you with much more than just digital files. We strive to leave our clients with fine artwork of which you and your loved ones are the subjects! Let us know today when you would like to meet and discuss your wedding day! We'd like to get to know you as well as possible so what we'll do first off is get together for a cup of coffee or whatever, just to make your acquaintance. Then as your wedding day gets closer we will work with you closely to make sure every detail is in order such as the timeline, special guest list, In-home display of your wedding photography and so forth.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Charity has a bachelors of fine art from an KU within emphasis on special arts and ceramic in a Sculpture. Tommy has a degree in commercial photography from Antonelli College in Cincinnati Ohio. We are both continually learning new processes and procedures and spend time honing our craft with regard to the fundamentals of our artwork.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started off doing favors for our friends and family because we were “the people at the party with the camera” and aggressive we started off doing favors for our friends and family because we were “the people at the party with the camera“ and our business just grew from there.
