- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can estimate based on linear feet of cabinetry. Another way is to price out the materials and use a multiplier.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I still am in contact with my mentor in Michigan. I stay up with visits to new construction sites and factories to keep abreast of changes the "mass marketed" wood workers are doing. My engineering degree has helped me immensely with material I use.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy it as a hobby first. This is a total stress relief for me to work with wood and provide a quality product for my customers.
