If I could give them a zero, I would. They were hired to fix up our deck. Unprofessional crew who low-balled themselves on price and the workmanship is sub par anyway. They also do not take credit cards like they said. They processed our down payment for $1500 with a Square account and then they found out they wouldn’t get the money for 15 days. They asked for another way so we did it a second way (PayPal) but that would charge us a fee so they took the fee off of our costs. Again, their method of receiving my payment they chose not us. They processed a refund but we still have not received the money back from 9/23/24. They left wood, nails, and cigarette butts all over our yard. The dangerous nails every where was very scary since we have elderly and children living here. The boards are uneven in length both on the deck and the stairs. The paint has already chipped. They got paint on the staircase bars…then comes the worst part. I keep asking for the refund. They tell me I have to contact the payment vendor to get it back. I advised I cannot contact their vendor to get a refund. Then I advise them our neighbors reported that while they were working the deck, their mouths were loud and filthy along with complaining about how their own other workers didn’t pick up the old wood and how they weren’t making any money off this job…this contractor called me a liar? Then he said, he put our “shit” back on the deck even though he didn’t have to….I didn’t ask them to do it. Overall this has been a mess. This is not an established contractor company that is fit to do business with. We will have to live with this for now but will be getting a refund. Sorry Thumbtack…while we had one great experience with you, this kind of contractor will prevent me from using this service again. I have never had anyone who I paid and contracted call me a liar. We are good upstanding people. Not so much for this company. You have been warned.

we don't use nails I didn't leave any wood all ur wood was picked up and our cigarette butts was up and out of your yard cuz we pick everything up. thumbtack needs to take this review off cuz it's a false review. square took her money not me I never seen the 1500 dollars. my bank never received it I refunded it back to her the same day she sent it to me. none of her boards was uneven or cut uneven her deck needed a lot more work than she was willing to pay for. her whole deck needed to be redone and we told her that when we started the job. but we repaired what she wanted done. so if I was her I would stop harassing me over something I have no control of..
