Wow! This is an honest, fair company. I wanted a second opinion on a very pricey repair that was quoted by Bryant Heating and Air. Bryant replaced the capacitor but said the compressor was "shaking violently" so violently that he couldn't guarantee that the capacitor would last 10 minutes. Will Noe of Air Services Comfort Solutions took me through every aspect of his inspection. There was no "violent shaking." And the unit was running at the time.
Bryant's guy said that I had a Carrier indoor unit and a Bryant outdoor unit and they were not compatible with each other. He recommended replacing the compressor ($2200) to at least get through the summer with a long term goal of replacing the entire unit ($9000). Will Noe pulled up Bryant and Carrier air systems on the Internet. They're the same company. Can you even believe that??
Mr. Noe said everything looked great and the only thing he would recommend would be hosing down the grill, which he proceeded to do. For nothing. He refused to take any money and left me his card. He said the unit was about 8 years old and he saw no reason why it wouldn't run for at least another 8-10 years. Apparently, when I bought it, I bought a really good unit. Needless to say, I have found my permanent AC company.
