Hello! I’m Shalimar, owner of Black Ink Notary. Our mission is to provide exceptional mobile notary and wedding officiant services with professionalism, reliability, and care. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, we proudly offer mobile notary services throughout the surrounding Kentucky areas for your convenience. We are certified, licensed, bonded, and insured through the National Notary Association. In addition to notary services, we also officiate weddings and are available to travel for ceremonies nationwide. Appointments are available during evenings, weekends, and select weekday hours to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. From Google

My sister is unable to travel and we needed a notary that would come to her house. It was a Friday afternoon and we needed it done quickly so we could get to the court house. I found Black Ink Notary on google it did not list Breckenridge county but I took a chance and called. Shalimar answered the phone I told her of our needs and she was here in about an hour. I had called another notary and they wanted 350.00 to come notarize 2 papers. Shalimar's rate was 80.00 for the 2 papers notorized and travel cost which was approximately 130 miles. She was very professional, efficient and a pleasure to meet. With Covid running rampant she is a blessing to those of us in need.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The notarization fee is $5 per person per signature. Travel fees are non-refundable. Witnesses can be provided upon request for an additional fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to make your transaction as smooth and quick as possible I will inform you on any necessary documentation needed for the notarization.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through the National Notary Association and Notary2Pro.
