I was shown a house today. The person that showed Me my wife and kids the house was very rude when asked about service dogs. As if he was the Law and he made the rules. Demanding that I Show him a had written document from my doctor stating my Disabilities. He asked me questions that was against Federal LAW! I can show him where my dog is a certified Working Service Dog. I DO NOT and will not show him a list of my medical files of all my disabilities. I will not be renting from him for this. All this happened in front of my family. Educate your workers. The ADA has been notified on this situation. If you want his name and number I will be happy to provide it. This is sad. I never knew someone in his job line would be so disrespectful. He also asked what breed my dog was to as if it mattered what breed he is. I let him know I had PTSD and a tbi and things your agent backs away as if I was dangerous for having these injuries. Educate your workers. This will be passed through the veteran community of how disrespectful and uneducated this place is.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Before hiring a property manager ask yourself; Do they get it? If they don't own investment real estate themselves, they can't possibly understand what it is like to be an investor, to have a vacant property, or to be left out of the loop.
