Very unprofessional and a scam in my experience. William Willoughby agreed to repair a floor joist at a house I have currently under contract with a buyer. Although they cashed my check within two hours of the job, I've yet to receive a receipt or explanation of their work (which we discussed and agreed upon before they started the job). The company is not returning calls, nor have they returned any messages. The lack of documentation for the repair may result in a breach of contract.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
my advice would be, not to pay attention to the rankings or feedback, sure read it, but talk to your contractor, a lot can be said about conversation, and questions, ask them questions, get to know them, that bad review might be because of a bad initial meeting, get to know the person a little before hiring, go with your heart and gut it knows more than most people give it credit for
