Introduction: Have trouble getting your horse to load in a trailer? Have a pony and cart, but do not know where to start? Are you a new horse owner, or want your first horse? I can help you find your first horse, get your new horse started, or help solve your horse issues. I do boarding for horses, long or short term, training and lessons For people with their own horses or basic riding skills on mine. I do not offer group lessons or trail rides. Boarding is limited. I have a 22-acre farm located in Philpot, KY with a family setting. It include stalls, wash rack, 66x88 round pen, 24-hour turnout, and shelter. Quality hay is raised here in the farm, and is a fescue and clover mix. I use gentle natural horsemanship techniques. Currrent coggins and shots are required for your horse to come here. Call for more information, or to check if a slot is open. I will travel to your farm to give you lessons on your own horse, to a limited area. I raise Rocky Mountain/ KY mountain horses. I am a certified examiner for the both RMHA and KMSHA. I prefer to ride gaited horses, but board and give lessons to people of other breeds as well. Over 20 years experience training horses. I am active with the Lions Club and 4H horse programs in Daviess county. Rates are hourly, including transportation if you would like me to come to your farm.
