Introduction: At HCS, we don't take your computer and let it sit on a shelf for days. We schedule appointments and look at your computer as soon as you bring it to us (or for on-site service, as soon as we arrive). If we have to order a part and cannot fix it right away, we can loan you a laptop until your repair is complete.

I have had to call James (Jim) Herman) at least three times on my home computor , my laptop and my dads laptop. He has always come to our home and taken care of the problems exactly when he said he would be there. I haven't found a problem he was not able to figure out and then repair the issues. I trust him completely with my computors and he always shows me what the problem is and that each were able to be corrected by him. It is wonderful to have some one so knowledgeable in his field. I have given his information to my church and to friends because I know him as a respected friend who has always impressed me with his computer skills. Thank you Jim for being there for us.

Our computer crashed, and we had no way of retrieving important documents and files, so we gave it to Jim and he was able to find all of them for us. Not only was he able to save our documents, but family photos and videos. He did this all in a timely manner and at a low cost. Not only that, but he ended up buying the old computer from us and using parts from it for his business. It was a great blessing!

Excellent service! Highly recommend. I was given different options in order for me to get the most out of the repair. I would definitely recommend HCS Computers. Prices were very reasonable. The service was also completed in a timely manner. HCS Computers goes above & beyond to provide quality service to customers.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    As a customer, I appreciate it when I can understand a business's pricing and know exactly what I am paying for. Therefore, when I started HCS Computers, I decided that I would make my pricing as simple as possible. Excluding a few special services listed on our website, all services are billed at a flat hourly rate. For on-site services, there is a minimum time of two hours.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    In January 2013, I purchased the parts to build my own desktop computer. Since I had some experience working on the inside of a computer, I did not expect it to be impossible, but I expected it to be more challenging than it was. As I was building the computer, I made a few Facebook posts about my progress. Seeing these posts, some friends began asking me if I could look at their computers. As I began receiving more requests, I began the process of formally starting a business in computer repair.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Our most common task is a PC Tune Up. This is a comprehensive evaluation of a slow computer to identify why it is running slow, followed by steps and suggestions to speed it up.
