Leslie did my son's rehearsal dinner. Food was awesome and the arrangement and presentation impressed the group. Leslie did a burrito bar and everyone enjoyed the spread. There were family from Texas here and they loved the food. We all recommend Leslie she loves what she does.

Leslie has been working with my family; three picky teenagers, for several years. She has been a true blessing. As a working mother, it has been absolutely wonderful to walk in the door each night knowing that I don't have to think about dinner. Per our weekly request, she prepares tasty and healthy dinner options that require only a short cooking time. All items have easy to follow cooking instructions. While she is totally open to preparing whatever the family desires, she is always trying to find new options that she thinks the we may like. She is always totally prepared, professional and punctual and is eager to help make our lives easier. All of my friends are jealous!

Leslie Whelan and her company, Bites of Satisfaction, have catered two events for me: my wedding reception and my baby shower. Not only is Leslie and her employees completely professional, the food is out of this world. Leslie takes the time to really hear what you want for your event regarding the theme of the food as well as the feel of the atmosphere that the food is trying to portray. I explained to Leslie my wishes in one email and felt completely confident after speaking with her that she had the same vision I did for my parties and I had no worries that she would do anything less than deliver. The displays were beautiful and well thought out and communication leading up to the events was prompt and thorough. She aims to please! Our guests are still raving about the food from our reception 2 years ago! Leslie and her company will be used at every major event I host.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing standard is by the hour. I have a minimum charge of $150.00 to book a cook-date. That includes one hour of grocery shopping and four hours of cooking. Each additional hour is $30.00.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the client is truly interested we book a date to meet in their home. I then forward them some information, questions and a list of foods that they can check off that they like or dislike;. (This shortens the initial visit). We then do an inventory of of items that they have such as, equipment, (if I will be using theirs)food items, refrigeration and containers. Then we set the cook-date!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over eighteen years of catering and over four years as a personal chef. I graduate from Cincinnati State Midwest Culinary Institute with a Certification of Personal Chef.
