- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That I charge what it costs to do the job. You aren’t paying for an office, secretary, not even a fancy letterhead of advertising. All my work I get through word of mouth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Tracy and I go over to see what the homeowners want done. We walk through, HO tells me what they want, I assure them it can be done as I point out nail pops and split seams and trim that needs caulked. I explain how and why we do what we do. Everything sanded and cleaned. All trim sanded and caulked. Sand BETWEEN coats. Everything Gets two coats etc...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I came up the old fashioned way. I prepped for a year. Learned to use a brush (cut line, leave no marks etc...) for two years and the last 29 I’ve been learning something new every day.
