Introduction: I received my Master of Fine Arts degree in dance and choreography from Smith College as a teaching fellow, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. I have served as a faculty member for Boston University, Bridgewater State University, Colleges of the Fenway, Kennesaw State University (KSU), Louisiana State University (LSU), Regis College, and Smith College. I have presented work at national professional venues including Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Boston, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans and New York in addition to Beijing and Taiwan. I have received funding nationally and internationally to conduct my research on Dance and Culture. My diverse training in both ballet and modern dance and teaching experience combined with my professional experience has provided me many tools on which to draw upon to be a successful leader, educator, and choreographer. It is important to me that the next generation of global artists can connect their own art to their personal perspectives as well as to others in society. I hope to inspire students who care about their art as much as the world in which they are living.
