Introduction: I provide a back up for cash coming into the company. I do the following: * Successfully handle multiple demands from superiors and subordinates * Manage the GL for the AR department, correct all errors that cause balancing issues * File monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns in multiple jurisdictions and states * File appropriate business licenses in appropriate jurisdictions * Handle sales tax audits including gathering of work papers and other supporting documentation * Maintain sales tax exemptions in order to keep the company compliant * Communicate with taxing jurisdictions in response to notices * Provide guidance on sales tax matters to business units on customer service inquiries regarding various sales and use tax issues * Process EDI for AR department * Maintain collections on over 1500 accounts * Manage all aspects of customers' accounts dealing with accounting * Posting of all cash coming into the company * Successfully handle multiple demands from superiors and subordinates * Manage the GL for the AR department * Train all new personnel in the collection department * Run weekly financial reports
