- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My youngest child who is now 10 would not step foot in a photo studio as a toddler. I couldn't get a professional photo of her no matter what I tried. This pushed me into researching photography and photographing her myself.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently photographed the birth of my best friends baby. We have been friends for 21 years and it was amazing to see her baby being born and to be able to capture it for her. It's a story of photos she will have for a lifetime.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at local photographers in the area you live in and get an idea of their style. Every photographer has a different style, from taking the photo to the editing process. Make sure you like the style before you choose someone to take your photos. They are life long memories you will treasure forever.
