Introduction: I am a Motivational Speaker and Cajun Humorist. I use Cajun humor to make or support a point in my inspirational message. Recalling the Cajun stories helps the participants remember the message and major points. It also makes the program very interesting and entertaining. My goal for each presentation is to inform, entertain and inspire. That's why I'm called the "Motivation Man"! I enjoy meeting new people and providing them with principles that enhance the quality of their personal and professional lives. It is exciting to know that I can make a difference in peoples' lives through the use of humor and practical principles. I also enjoy the challenge. It requires me to bring my "A Game" each and every time I present. I like that!

The St. Tammany Parish Tourist Commission booked Mr. Boudreaux last year to be our closing speaker at our annual Hospitality Training Seminar. Curt intertwined his humor and storytelling skills that kept our group engaged while still effectively delivering useful content. He definitely has the touch of making learning fun! Mr. Boudreaux was a pleasure to work with and was very flexible on customizing his program to fit our needs.

Curt Boudreaux has been a guest speaker for our business association in the past and recently for our local volunteer fire department installation and awards banquet. One of the best motivational speakers we have had the pleasure to listen to. Presentations keep you engaged as the messages are delivered with a mixture of cajun humor. I would highly recommend his services as a motivational speaker.

I have heard Mr. Boudreaux speak a few years back at an event and remember enjoying his program. So this year when I was appointed chairperson to book all the guest speakers, Mr. Boudreaux was one of the speakers on the top of my list to approach. All I can say is Mr. Boudreaux made me a hero. Everyone enjoyed his presentation, the convention committee couldn't say enough about working with him on the details, he showed up in a timely manner and was very professional. All the attendees of the convention kept coming to me after to tell me how much they enjoyed it. I would recommend Mr. Boudreaux for a lite hearted approach in becoming motivated.

For several years I was an officer/director of a telecommunications organization. During my tenure with the organization we were fortunate to engage Curt to make a presentation to our group at two of our annual conventions. Over the years we engaged many motivational speakers and Curt tops the list of presenters. His presentations were on target for the group. His delivery was flawless and to boot Curt incorporated funny stories/jokes providing entertaining moments making for a very rewarding experience. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing/fees are flexible depending on the length of the program and occasionally on the size of the audience. Back of the room book/CD sales is sometimes a consideration. The majority of my engagements are 1 - 1 1/2 hours long and price is determined accordingly. I am willing to work with the customer concerning the fee to our mutual satisfaction. I will do everything in my power to make it happen. I am very "customer friendly!"
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I immediately begin developing rapport with the customer via telephone and email. I want to put the customer at ease and feel good about hiring me. I ask the customer to complete a one page PreProgram Questionnaire so I can learn as much as possible about the group or organization. I also view their website if one is available. This allows me to get the information I need to customize the program as much as possible. I also invite the customer to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns s/he may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters' degree in Guidance & Counseling which helps me in working with people. I was a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) for 20 years. This is a professional organization for speakers. During that time I attended many national conventions which featured outstanding speakers. They shared many tips and insights into the speaking profession which helped me grow as a professional.
