Introduction: There are many great photographers in the world. I am blessed to be a part of a very fortunate group who have a gift of seeing things, people, events, moments in unique ways. God has created incredible stunning visuals for us to enjoy. Capturing those visuals in a way that brings a smile to someone's face is what it is ultimately all about. From a technical perspective "it's all about the light" from an experience perspective "it's all about the smile" and that is my goal with every single project. Photography/media is not a job for me even though it is how I make a living, it's my life. I love everything about capturing the light, the moment, the experience.
EVERYTHING! That "Zinger" feeling when a photo is captured and I know the "it" is there... Seriously... my first experience came at the age of 12 and I have been completely hooked since! There is something completely magical, something that feels like "it" when the elements come together. I really do not know how to put into words what is in many ways a spiritual experience. Photography is a gift that comes through me, not "from" me. It is our greatest achievement to find the gifts we are given and to fully experience those gifts while sharing them with the world. If there is only one word I could use to describe what is that gift, it is "sight" and not exactly visual sight but more of an internal sense of that moment which is fleeting and just how to grab it on film, video, media and so forth. Photography is still just as exciting to me now as it was when I first began (back in the dark ages ha, ha). Never ending joy!
