- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If it's an extremely messy house and you want drapes cleaned, floor shampooed, refrigerator or stove/oven cleaned out, it will cost extra. It varies on how big of an area it is and how messy. Pricing also depends on if I have to bring my own cleaning supplies or buy extra supplies. I don't mind giving prices over the phone but I would also like to see the house in person, or a snapshot of it to see exactly how to price it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am also a part time retail merchandiser, usually 10-30 hours a week. I love it because it is very flexible. Cleaning is also a great part of that job, as well as being detail oriented.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing housekeeping all my life, my Mother trained me well. I help her to take care of her house and I have several family references as well as friends and landlords that will vouch that I keep a clean house.
