Introduction: Sit Happens Dog Training specializes in pet dog obedience training and behavior modification. We offer private lessons, a unique home based board and train program, and puppy classes. We serve those in Lafayette and the surrounding areas. We accept board and train clients statewide. Our trainer's place an emphasis on continuing education. Vikki Bourgeois is one of only 10 Certified Professional Dog Trainers in the state of Louisiana and owner of Sit Happens Dog Training, LLC. She has over 10 years experience in the pet care industry. She is Certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the “Do More With Your Dog” program, and Fear Free Certified Professional. Vikki is also a Member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians, Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Pet Professional Guild, and an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Puppy S.T.A.R. evaluator. Ronny LeJeune has over 5 years experience in the pet care industry. She is working towards achieving her certification through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers as well as an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator and Puppy S.T.A.R. evaluator We enjoy helping build positive relationships between humans and their canine companions.
