My first job was doing home theatre/home automation work while going to a technical college to earn my associates degree in electronics engineering/computer networking where I installed cctv cameras, telephone system, alarm systems, home automation system (which we now call smart homes), flat screen TVs etc. From there I got on with WWL-TV and after graduating decided radio was a better fit for me. As a contract electronics engineer, I have worked with most of the local radio stations building and servicing there studios , transmitter sites and all of there there IT work as well. I have also designed and built a traffic center (metroscan traffic network) studios to monitor traffic and report to local tv/radio stations and installed cameras throughout the city for the reporters to monitor traffic flow. I have designed and installed multiple small business computer networks .I have run numerous wires romex, cat 5/6 , Coax RG 56/59 , fiber, heliax , multiple diff audio cabling, security, telephone, etc. After rebuilding most Radio sites ,after Katrina , it slowed down and I was offered a Project Manager position for one of the biggest shoring companies In town that I could not pass up. I over saw hundreds of elevation projects and was responsible for making sure the all the contractors (Electrical, plumbing, lift crews, carpenters, landscapers etc) completed there jobs correctly and in the time frame to keep the jobs rolling so we could meet the time frame given to us by the state inspectors. During that time I learned a lot about all of the construction trades. I then went on my own and worked with diff contractors who we’re flipping houses , doing pretty much everything from electrical, flooring, painting, siding, small plumbing jobs etc. I do have my own crews that I try to keep working so I am willing to take on as much work as I can get. IM HUNGRY! Lol I have also worked directly with a Master electrician off an on over the years and am actually in process of obtaining an electrical lic. Myself just to add to my resume.
