- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my services competitively on an individual basis, not only saving my clients money, but allowing me to offer additional adjunct services in the audio/visual space at the most competitive package prices available. I aim to offer top quality video and photography services at a price everyday people can afford.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After discovering or receiving a relevant lead, I reach out to all prospective clients in an authentic, personal manner in hopes that we can schedule a brief phone call to learn more about the customer's project needs. I am upfront with my estimates and don't require that customer's talk with me before I offer a quote, but it's the perfect opportunity to learn critical information from one another to be certain that A) I am able to deliver what a client needs at the price the client can afford, and B) the client feels he or she will be glad to work with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold an Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University and hold a FAA Part 107 Certification (Commercial sUAS [drone] Operator). For the past 3 years, I have used my drone pilot certification to offer services to professionals in real estate, technology, survey/GIS, private investigation, and recreation and tourism. While I have been operating fancy cameras at every family function since 1999, I really dove into advanced digital photography and videography in the past 3 years as a commercial drone operator. The two go hand-in-hand and I have - and continue - to learn and perform at an increasingly advanced level in these fields. For clients who seek to leverage my audio/visual production services for commerce and promotion, my education and professional experience in business prior to having become a photographer create an enormous value add for these clients. My background in marketing/branding and social media promotion and activism is extensive and includes working for companies like MTV Networks to launch the spin-off network mtvU. So these clients can guarantee that, not only will they get great images and film when they hire me, but they will get a huge value-add when it comes to commercial images and video.
