- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my services by the job. After providing a quote, I conduct a final walk through to ensure clarity and offer an invoice that includes a description of the work scope, expectations, and pricing. My primary focus is on quality, and I prioritize thorough preparation to enhance the final result. Thank you for considering my services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my first step is to warmly greet them and make every effort to gather as many details as possible to ensure their satisfaction. I will conduct a thorough walk through and discuss any pictures the customer may have to gain a better understanding of their vision. Additionally, I will assist in searching for relevant photos and materials, while also determining the budget they are working with. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the construction industry for 28 years. I began my career at the age of 14 in a local fabrication shop owned by a friend of my father's, where I built utility trailers. From a young age, I assisted my father with various projects, including constructing firework stands, deer stands, and, of course, our home. My stepfather also took me along to sheetrock jobs and other handyman tasks as I was growing up. After high school, I transitioned into the offshore oil industry, where I progressed to foreman while working in oil and chemical refineries. Throughout the years, I have continued to expand my knowledge by assisting friends with home projects and managing my own projects, as well as through my other business ventures. My expertise in construction spans both residential and commercial sectors. If a job arises that I am not familiar with, I am committed to researching and consulting professionals in that field to assess whether I can deliver quality results for the customer. If it is beyond my capability, I will communicate this to the customer and can either subcontract a professional or allow the customer to select a specialist. My work portfolio and reviews reflect the quality of my services, and I plan to continue adding to them over time. Thank you for considering my experience.
