We got our new Yamaha U3 piano a little over a year ago. It was due for routine tuning in Spring. My son's piano teacher recommended Jiaao to me because she thinks Jiaao did a great job for tuning the piano in her school.
Jiaao was very accommodating and willing to come during weekend when i called him to arrange a time to come over.
We finally met today. He was indeed a very polite and careful person. He was here for more than 3 hours. I know he had another appointment after my tuning, but i didn't feel that he was rushing. He was really taking his time to tune. After the tuning, he even explained to me what and why he was doing.
The piano sounds fabulous now. I think the price that i paid for the service and quality is definitely worth it. I would definitely ask Jiaao again for next tuning.

My piano was given for free to me by a family moving away. It's quite old and even I can tell that it's not tuned regularly and not protected very well. I told Jiaao that I only needed it to be playable. That's enough. However, he still did a really careful and great job with the piano, making it sound so much better, exceeding my expectation.
He is also very patient and nice. After he left, I found a very small problem with one key. I called him and he returned immediately without saying anything to repair it.

In two and half hours, Jiaao transformed my Mason & Hamlin model A baby grand from a bright, noisy and harsh beast into a warm and musical instrument! Besides bringing the piano in tune, he also spent some time tweaking the action mechanism plus voicing. The tone of my piano is much more even, and musical now. I'm looking forward to Jiaao's next visit to address some "touch" related issues.
