Mark has been my teacher for the last 13 years. In that time, I've seen his honest dedication to helping his students grow, advance, and succeed- not just in martial arts, but in life, as well. He keeps the dojo open and inviting to all, making sure it's not only family friendly, but welcoming to those who have never tried martial arts before. The mood is kept relaxed, giving the students the fullest ability to learn. He believes the dojo is a sanctuary, where all can learn in safety. His knowledge of martial arts is wide and thoroughly studied, as he has traveled all over the world to train with the best instructors. Come in, leave your cares at the door, and get ready to train with one of the best instructors out there!

Mr. Davis is in the top echelon of those with whom I have had the pleasure of studying under and training with throughout my life. I have been his student for the past 20+ years and it never ceases to amaze me how he can be such a skilled instructor and be so driven to study, improve, and gather new information at the same time. Mark's passion for martial arts is only exceeded by his ability to teach what he knows to individuals of varying skills and needs. He is equally adept at teaching a large group of individuals as he is at privately training one-on-one for specific needs. I would recommend Mark and the staff of Boston Martial Arts Center without hesitation.

This place is a haven of friendly people. Everyone is accepted and supported in where and who they are. No macho attitudes, no tough guy fighters. Just practitioners who seek understanding of the martial arts.

A superb and very honest instructor, very knowledgeable in very many different disciplines with a genuine desire to teach. He and his staff make sure that the students feel welcome and safe and are always respected. I highly recommend Mr. Davis and the Boston Martial Arts Center to anyone who would like to learn and experience authentic marital arts. I personally have had the pleasure of learning (and continue to!!!) for the past 15 years!!!
