- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not really complicated at all. Pretty much spelled out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an appointment and free tasting. The customer is welcome to bring pictures of cakes that they like. I also have a large portfolio of cakes I've made for them to view. (If time or distance creates a problem for meeting, we can do this through any communications.) To book the cake, a deposit is required and contract made. I will reconfirm the details before the wedding date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, through cake friends,FB, you tube, classes with the NY pros and other avenues.
