FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I personally believe that the best clarity in getting a project going comes from working in writing, so I like to establish as many details in email as possible. Generally I like to start projects via email, with a brief phone call or two mixed in to help establish familiarity. I am willing to take as much time as needed to set up project parameters before setting a price and locking in a contract, so my customers will not feel rushed, though, of course I still require a contract before any work can change hands.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing design and development while still in high school for personal projects, mostly for the web. In college, I branched out into advertising design for print and web, and since then I've moved further into all of the above, with experience in package design and enhanced development techniques.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with smaller clients on the side of my full-time web development job, so I have worked with all kinds of customers. My personal clients tend to be small businesses and individuals, but as part of my corporate job I have worked with Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, and large gaming websites, giving me a large breadth of experience.
