Looking at our space with a fresh perspective and an amazing gift for organization, Ann absolutely transformed our garage!
We have had an extremely busy and at times difficult year; our second child was born, a job change, a health challenge and a move up the east coast back to New England. All this turmoil had left our garage a depressing labyrinth of boxes, tools, my husband's endless hobby equipment, outdoor toys, gardening supplies, and all manner of things we had stashed in there haphazardly after the move. It was an overwhelming, chaotic space in which we could barely walk and into which I dreaded going, and I just did not have the time (or really the inclination) to tackle it. Enter "My Time is Yours"! Now, our garage is an organized, de-cluttered space where everything has a place and I can immediately find what I need because the system that Ann designed makes so much sense. I actually love walking into my garage now! Even better, I can pull my car into the bay, a feat that a week ago was unimaginable to me!
Ann was professional, courteous, and non-judgmental, and beyond that her optimism and energy were positively contagious! We had been "stuck" for so long with too much stuff, and overwhelmed by the prospect of going through it. Ann helped us get "unstuck;" her amazing gift is to make it fun! After working with us on a vision for the garage, Ann dove in and produced incredible results in that space. Her energy and efficiency just melted away our paralyzing indecision. She gave us much more than a well-organized, de-cluttered garage; her example in the way she tackled that challenging space encouraged us to embark on other projects as well, inspiring a transformation throughout our entire house!

After a mix-up with my relocation paperwork, I was faced with only a two week window to move from our two-story townhome in CT to a 700 sq ft apartment in Washington DC. It was a daunting and overwhelming feeling, but then Ann from My Time is Yours came in and helped make the entire process a lot smoother!
She spent two afternoons with me creating an inventory list, packing labels, and helping with downsizing our belongings. This made the process less stressful, and when it came for our actual move day, the movers were able to pack up our whole house into the truck in less than two hours. The inventory list and packing labels have been a lifesaver because I packed up the house, but my husband has been unpacking the boxes in our new apartment. Since he wasn't here for the packing process, he didn't know where everything was. So whenever he asks, I'm easily able to check our inventory list and tell him exactly which box to look in.
Working with Ann was our saving grace through this process, and we would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to move, especially if you want your move to include downsizing of your belongings.

I employed Ann at My Time is Yours to assist with a big basement cleanup project in 2015 and was so impressed with her ability to take chaos and turn it into an organized, clean, orderly space, that I have since hired her to help prep for selling my home - all closets got cleaned out, organized and unwanted items she took care of sending to charity. She helped declutter & stage before the real estate photography shoot and then when my home went under agreement I had her back again to help me pack. I could not have done the move without her help right before the holidays, she went above and beyond to make sure I was ready for moving day. She provided a master inevntory list of over 100 boxes detailing each's contents and numbered box label. Even the movers were impressed. I credit her organized process for being able to quickly get unpacked and settled into my new home. I'll never move without her again!
My boyfriend has also hired Ann to organize a large, cluttered garage and his basement storage area and he was equally as pleased.
My next project will be getting her assistance with prepping for an estate sale. She makes the daunting projects you want to get done around the house an absolute breeze!

Ann did an incredible job organizing not only our basement - but our lives in general! She took clutter out and brought structure and organization into our world. "Starting from the ground up", she tackled years of old storage, boxes, toys, holiday items, furniture and other sundries that were strewn throughout our large basement. She helped us execute a streamlining plan by understanding what was junk, what could be donated and those items that were worth keeping. Then she consolidated, organized and shelved the our keepsakes. It was such a pleasure working with her - and helped us "manage the unmanageable"!

Ann was a great help with organizing our apartment. She helped up redesign the layout and ended up finding a lot of extra space we were not utilizing. I would definitely hire her again if we need any help in the future
