I want to lead my review by saying what an outstanding guy Rocco is. I needed my lawn mowed, badly. My mower had died, and I let the lawn get a bit out of control. Rocks and Roses was the only company to respond to my request on Thumbtack, and did so extremely quickly. The interactions I had with Rocco via email and phone were great. He's knowledgeable, kind, and customer focused. On top of that, his rates were outstanding. He also was able to fit me into a very busy spring schedule, at the last minute. He showed up when he said he would, and took care of the landscaping beyond my level of expectation. My lawn is nothing special, and I would've been happy just having the grass cut, which he did to get rid of the height of the grass, but he also weed whacked all of the edges, and then went back over the lawn again with the mover to create professional looking lines. Super impressive, especially since I was charged such a great rate. I opted to also have Rocco add some more seed and fertilizer to my front lawn. I asked him about this ahead of time, so it's not like he tried to up-sell me on the spot. He tested my lawn first to see if I'd need anything else besides the seed and fertilizer (loam, grub killer, etc), and it turns out that I didn't. Again, a testament to his honesty, and not trying to gouge his customers. Thank you for the awesome service that you and your company provides. Hire this guy to take care of your lawn!

I gave Rocco and team a tough task to tackle a very neglected lawn, shrubs, and gutters so that a friend's house could be more presentable prior to sale. They did an incredible job in all aspects and it definitely was a tougher job than they envisioned yet they remained true to their price. I would/will use Rocco and Team in the future without hesitation.

I had Rocco give a quote for lawn mowing and later snow removal which I found his quotes very reasonable. I asked him for some removal of shrubs which we had cut and again he and Nathan came and removed and did a great and clean job at the pre determined price which again I fount reasonable. Rocco is very pleasant to talk to so we decided to let him do mulching as well. Look no further if you need yard work.

I hired Rocks and Roses to do regular lawn mowing and landscaping for our property. I then hired them to do more work around the property, trimming back overgrown shrubs, laying mulch and removing some debris. They have excellent communication, have always been extremely responsive, and offer competitive pricing. One of the best lawn/landscaping service providers I have ever contracted with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is a follows , Labor $25/hour per person , mulch $95 /yard includes weed prevention , Edging $0.50 /foot includes clean up and disposal , loam $95/yard includes seed, fertilizer and (labor in some applications ), Stone $95/yard includes weed prevention and (labor in some situations ) , seed $75 min per application , fertilizer $75 min per application , lawn mowing $30 min includes mowing weed whacking and whip edging and blowing down surfaces , These prices maybe schedule to change.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first meet the customer and look at the work they need done . We go over every detail to ensure the client knows what will be done and any problems we may run in to . Then we print up a detailed estimate and give the clients a contract to look over . If the client agrees with the estimate and contract we then have them e - sign the estimate and initial and sign the contract . Then a copy of each are given to the customer and we proceed with the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of working with varies businesses in all landscape applications. We also partner with other companies so the customer can have all aspects of their landscaping needs taken care of while only talking to one person .
