This was my first experience with DP Electric, after a disappointing experience with a different provider for my last job. They scheduled an appointment quickly, communicated clearly, cost estimates were accurate (in fact came in a bit under), and their electricians were respectful and efficient. I plan to use them for a different project in the future.

Dave and his team at DP Electric were life-savers; Dave was super-responsive online and over the phone, and was able to get us an appointment for a pretty significant chunk of work very quickly (we got lucky). His team were prompt, friendly, and thorough, and were more than happy to explain how things work and why they were doing what they were doing. We had a hard time finding an electrician who would even return our calls, but we will definitely be calling on DP Electric again in the future!

I found a DP electric through the thumbtack website. While I was reluctant to hire someone without any references from personal friends, I had no personal referrals to fall back on. David contacted me within hours of my inquiry and saw the location needing work the very next morning. On the day of the job he arrived with several employees, reviewed my expectations, and completed the job timely and exactly as discussed. His staff was courteous and respectful, they took the extra effort to ensure in addition to completing the job they also cleaned up after the work was complete. I highly recommend this company/team.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School (GREAT SCHOOL) and spent a few years working in the trade as an apprentice. Then when I became a licensed Master electrician I started my own business in 1981.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of customers ranging from homeowners of single-family or multi-family homes and condo's. We also work with businesses and general contractors on their projects. From remodels and renovations to complete new builds.
