Introduction: Elliott Sabbagh, aka "That DJ Ell," is a talented classically trained violinist and vinyl turntablist DJ, who plays several music genres, including hip-hop, EDM, pop, bluegrass, and classical. Having grown a large fan base of followers in the Midwest, Ell has been seen in and out of the country performing and touring with many celebrity artists and labels, such as ASAP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Curren$y, EST19XX, Finally Famous, J. Cole, Juicy J, Logic, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), Maybach Music, Taylor Gang, Talib Kweli, Twista, Wale, and more. Unlike most DJs who only play one genre of music, Ell has played a wide range of events, concerts and festivals from the opening for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) to the Vans Warped Tour, as well as benefit concerts and entertainment events hosted by MTV and Red Bull. He has mentored many teen musicians as well as taught turntablism classes. Trained from the early age of five in the strings, he credits his success as a DJ/turntablist/artist to his many years of playing and studying violin and classical music. At age 14, he was invited by DJ Chill Will, host of "The Prop Shop" (the Midwest's longest-running hip-hop radio show since 1988), on WCBN FM Ann Arbor to join his show as his regular co-host. He considered Ell a "musical, rhythmic prodigy." That DJ Ell became the youngest turntablist DJ in the U.S to co-host a radio hip-hop show on FM radio, from 2008 to the summer of 2013, when he left Ann Arbor to earn his degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
