Team Sayles was recommended by a friend who recently used them for her wedding. The music was very important to us and we had met with a few DJ's already and just weren't impressed with them or their pricing. The DJ from Team Sayles was extremely professional and responsive. He met with me and my husband for an initial meeting to go over the music and atmosphere we wanted for the entire wedding, including arrival (music played while people arrived and waited for the wedding to start), ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. I hadn't even thought about how the music could vary at different points in the evening, but the DJ walked us through it. He even asked us which specific songs we wanted played during cake-cutting, and other special moments. If we couldn't think of anything or didn't have a preference, he just made some recommendations. Overall this DJ was very professional and played exactly the kind of music we wanted the whole time. He kept everyone swaying and dancing all night long and people still comment on how good the DJ was.

Julian Sayles was extremely professional throughout the whole process! We connected with him in early February for our wedding in July 2013, and he was incredibly accessible from the start. He requested all the pertinent information related to the event, he offered very creative and practical ideas, and he shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with us. In the days leading up to the event, he also assisted us with the organization of the schedule. On our wedding day, he not only provided us with incredible music, he and his team kept the event running effortlessly. He also designed a monogram for us, and brought incredibly awesome backlighting that really gave a magical feel to an otherwise plain brick wall. He absolutely exceeded all expectations my wife and I had.

You are probably not going to find a more outstanding DJ for your event than Team Sayles Music & Lighting. Absolutely the most fun and professional experience working with Julian. We had been to a wedding where the music was unreal, no one got off the dance floor all night and everyone still talks about how amazing the wedding and DJ was to this day. We knew that we wanted people to remember our wedding the exact same way and to have the same experience so we absolutely had to get the same DJ... and it was Julian! He takes the time to really get to know you, what you like, what you're looking for which completely makes all the difference in getting exactly what you want for your event. He met with us months before our event to get to know our personalities and taste, then would use Drop Box to send us samples of songs to make sure they were the exact versions we were looking for. He also took the time to find out what you did NOT want - which was huge for us. Being OCD about everything in my wedding, he just understood how important music was in making a wedding as memorable as possible and took the time to perfect details like that for us. Really made the experience a personal one. The day of, we couldn't have asked for more. Fun, upbeat and full of personality without being one of those over the top annoying, always on the microphone kind of DJ's. Team Sayles was perfection. Played the absolute most amazing music and without exaggeration, not one of our guests got off the dance floor all night. Would hire them a million more times for every party/event we have for the rest of our lives. They are on another level. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience that people will talk about for months after - hire Team Sayles!!

My husband and I were referred to Team Sayles by a trusted friend. I never realized how stressful and nerve-wracking wedding planning can be, especially being from out of town! Needless to say I was very apprehensive about the entire process, but Julian’s knowledge, intuitiveness, and creativity really set our minds at ease. Due to distance, our first few meetings were over Skype. However, after the first time I conversed with him I was very excited and enthusiastic about what he had to offer. I was also skeptical because his presentation seemed too good to be true, but I was wrong! He gave so much great feedback and ideas that even touched avenues outside his specialty! His thorough description of services, receptiveness to my wants/needs, and ability to make great suggestions...top notch. To be honest, it got to a point where I was consulting him more than I was my own wedding planner! He told me what to expect, but nothing could prepare me for the beautiful setup in person, it almost brought me to tears. He took the ideas and dreams I’ve had about my wedding from early childhood and made them reality (better than I had imagined!) This is what sets Julian apart from other DJ’s - you can really sense his genuine passion for his line of work, which strongly reflects in his overall performance. He felt more like a wedding guest than someone I was paying to be there. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and his professionalism is top of the line! But the most surprising thing was his innate ability to do what must be so difficult - satisfying the musical tastes of all of my diverse guests (many different nationalities, religions, and age groups). He found a way to mix it all in and make everyone happy! The dance floor was packed the entire time! All of my guests were commenting on how skilled he was and how well he interacted with the crowd. And the LIGHTING…A+! I could go on and on, but look no further than Team Sayles!

Julian and his team were awesome! He kept us dancing all night. He went above and beyond with the lights and custom monogram. It was so beautiful and professional at a flexible price! (Wedding on 06/01/2013)

    I've always had a passion for music. Which started when I play 2 instruments in my high school jazz band. I later did college radio and worked in various clubs and venue. Discovering new music is what keeps me going.
