Introduction: Jack Byrne is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Boston, MA. Jack holds a Bachelor’s in Music from UMass Amherst, and a Master’s in Voice Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College. Well-versed in a wide variety of styles such as Folk, Pop, Rock, Metal, Classical, and Jazz, Jack has been performing both solo and with various bands in the Boston area for the last two decades. In September 2020, Jack released his third solo album, “New Beginnings and Resolutions,” featuring fingerstyle folk songs recorded in a cabin in the woods.
Jack began his teaching career in 2009, and offers lessons in Guitar, Voice, Banjo, Ukulele, and Bass. Jack caters his lessons to each student’s varied interests and ability levels, and is committed to helping every one of his students find their own voice. Jack’s students have gone on to perform live, write and record their own music, and overall gain confidence in their musicianship and creativity. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced musician, Jack’s goal is to help you achieve your artistic goals through fun and upbeat lessons.
