Erica Derrickson

I have a lot of experience doing this, and I've learned from a lot of other great artists, although most of my skills are self-developed. Honestly I have no patience for retouchers who simply blur skin, or, among other things, make the whites of the eyes too white - it makes the eye look flat rather than radiant, and that's just something I cannot accept. I guess you can say that I have very high standards! When I attended Parsons School of Design in New York City I was often better at Photoshop than my professors! I really take pride in doing excellent retouching work, and my goal is always to make my client happy with their images. I love seeing the subtle but powerful differences between the before and after images, and knowing that making these images really stand out goes a long way to help people succeed towards their own goals in life.
