- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$65-$75 per hour is my typical rate. I also offer a "50 for $50", which is a 50 minute in-home consultation with a quick-fix plan, discussed verbally during the home walk-through. If the client chooses to use me for more services beyond the 50 minutes, they can do so OR they can follow the plan on their own.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial consultation is essential to ensure we are a good fit. Establishing ideas, styles, budgets and color schemes is necessary for a good working relationship with no surprises. From there, I use visual boards, texts and shopping trips to lead us to the end result-- a perfectly designed room which is my vision and my client's style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Visual Arts from Holy Cross and Interior Design from Rhode Island School of Design. I continually attend ASID conferences, ALA Lighting conferences and workshops as well as local trade seminars.
