Job description: • Follows detailed worksheet for each cabin cleaning • Completes inventory of cabin contents on form provided • Provides information on any missing items to the manager • Cleans building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them • Stocks cabin maintenance supplies (paper towel, trash bags, toilet paper) as needed • Replenishes supplies • Gathers and empties trash • Washes trash bins as needed • Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures • Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees • Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment • Disinfects equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers • Replaces light bulbs • Hangs draperies and dusts window blinds • Washes dishes and cleans kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware • Moves and arranges furniture • Makes adjustments and to heating, cooling, and ventilating systems • Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications • Paints building and replaces ceiling and floor tiles • Steam cleans or shampoos carpets and polishes floors • Cleans and restores building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water, using commercial cleaning equipment • Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
