Over 30 years i Started my work history with my father which was a Mason and my grandfather was also a mason i started as a Masons attendant to my father. and from there in 4 years I became a mason in all types of stone work and brick work iam very passionate about my craft and take great pride in my trade thank you.

John came out and gave an estimate and understood we wanted to save our 80+ year old steps to match the house. Most others only offered concrete and a stone veneer. He checked in weekly to let us know about scheduling and when it was our turn he was promptly here every morning. He rebuilt our stairs, saving what he could and blending the new so well it's hard to spot! Would certainly recommend John and EMI Ferreira Masonry to anyone!

I was lucky to find EMI , they were Prompt. , responsive , processional and did absolutely created what I wanted . I asked EMI to build a 20’ stone retaining wall for my backyard and they built the vision that I was hoping for . They showed up every day and got the job done and I will have them back to accomplish some more work in the near future . Please feel free to reach out as if your planning a masonry or stone project of any type - just call EMI , you won’t be disappointed .

John did a great job restoring my front steps - (brick and bluestone caps). They were in rough shape and he was able to repoint / replace all the brick where needed- and re install the bluestone (which had completely dislodged from the stairs). My stairs are solid again, and they look wonderful. Thank you!

I was searching online for a mason to repair the brick steps on my front porch and within minutes, I received a phone call from John. After explaining the work that I needed done, John set up a time to come by and give me an estimate. Once I agreed, John started working on the steps within a few days. On the day he finished, when I got home from work, I could not believe what a great job he had done on the stairs. His work exceeded my expectations. Not only is John a very good mason, but he is also a very respectful person who is easy to talk to, and he takes pride in the work that he does. Once again, we are very pleased with the job that John did for us, and if I should need any masonry work in the future, I will not hesitate to give John a call, and I would highly recommend Emi Ferreira Masonry to anybody!

My wife and I have got to say that we count ourselves fortunate to have found EMI Ferreira Masonry on Thumbtack for our masonry project. We had an 80-year old set of brick steps leading into our house as part of a front portico. The brick steps were 3 levels of bricks, including a landing, and were in the shape of a semicircle, but they were in deplorable shape. EMI’s owner, John and his associate Ralph were very professional and over the course of 4 days restored these broken and decaying steps into something we are proud to have had restored. Not only has their work added to the esthetic beauty of the old staircase, but it has also repaired a potential tripping hazard. John and Ralph provided high quality work at a competitive price. I guess the best way to indicate how we feel about the quality of the work is that we certainly will use EMI again if another masonry related project arises, and we would recommend them in a heartbeat to a relative or friend in need of this type of expertise.
