I was very fortunate to have found Barbara for a tutor. I needed help with all aspects of the Verbal SAT. I had a weekly 1 ½ hour session and found Barbara patient, knowledgeable and caring and pleasant, truly a gem with whom to work. She individualized all lessons and geared her teaching toward my greatest areas of weaknesses. Concentration for me was in strengthing vocabulary, critical reading and writing essays all geared to improve SAT scores. My scores increased and I was thrilled when I got accepted to the university of my choice. I do not hesitate to recommend her. I found her rates reasonable for the service she provided.
