Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with, I am so happy I hired her for my wedding at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, MA. Lisa understood very quickly the color scheme and esthetic that I was hoping for and sent detailed and prompt estimates. The flowers for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were beautiful and arrangements and bouquets turned out better than I had imagined. Guests who took arrangements home after the wedding, told me that the flowers stayed fresh in their home for a week afterwards. Lisa also went above and beyond when she covered for a mistake that I had made. We had added another reception table and I forgot to let Lisa know. When she was setting up for the wedding, she noticed that there was one more table that would need a large and tall flower arrangement. She made another one on the spot. She says she always brings extra flowers and vases just in case. I had no idea of the problem and neither did my guests. I highly recommend Lisa!

Lisa is a fantastic florist! She did a great job with the floral arrangements. We had our wedding reception in the Casino Roger Williams Park, Providence. She had decorated the entire place beautifully. The centerpieces were marvelous, very colorful and vibrant, just as I had requested. Since this was an Indian wedding, she added hues of gold to the vase, and added candles to the decorations just as I envisioned. She also added rose petals to each of the tables adding to the festivities. My bouquet was extremely beautiful and she made a beautiful hair comb with matching colors. She was very flexible with all my requests and made some creative suggestions during the planning phase of the wedding. She is very responsive to emails and that makes life easy if you are the kind of person who likes to communicate via email. I would strongly recommend Lisa for any floral decoration event.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I like to share some ideas online mostly through pinterest and when the costumer and I have narrowed down a selection of flowers, I like to meet and discuss the wedding details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Massachusetts Horticultural Society and Hanover Garden Club member and attend many lectures on flower arranging. Participants of the MFA Art in Bloom were invited to meet Shane Connolly, the florist for Kate and Prince Williams wedding. It was a dream come true!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been arranging flowers for local garden club events, the Boston Flower Show, and banquets for a few years. One day a flower show judge recommended that I expand my creative side. I decided to participate in the Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts. It occurred to me that I might take my passion a step further and start a small business.
