- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Start with a written creative strategy. Make sure everyone involved in the project is on the same page. I always write a creative strategy for a project and pass it to my clients for review. Together we agree on the objectives guidelines of the project. This simple step saves a lot of time and ensures a more successful project. It also gives my clients the opportunity to get their input submitted to me in writing. I would also suggest to always work with a designer who has a specific step by step process for presenting design concepts. This process should be in writing. My first step in the process is to present at least 3 different concepts. I look for feedback from my clients before proceeding. This ensures that my customers get what they want because they are involved in the creative process. I suggest no one approve a budget or an estimate without the exact creative and production process of the project spelled out in writing.
