What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As of 7/2014: $250 for 4 hrs, $450 for 8 hrs for miscellaneous work. Or, I can give you a flat rate for a single project depending on what it is, how big, etc...
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My wife told me for decades that I should be working with my hands instead of in an office. After renovating my own kitchen, she was even more convinced. I didn't actually start my business until the architecture work dried up on me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done several repair jobs following water damage in homes from toilet overflows, frozen pipes and roof and gutter problems.
