- What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide detail oriented, customized exercise programming tailored to the requests of my clients. I provide an education on the fundamentals of body change, habit change, behavior change, and nutritional change to deliver the best results possible. Active listening and emotional support are tantamount to building a trusting relationship with clients, something I believe in strongly. Besides exercise programming, and nutritional coaching, in the past I have provided cooking lessons and supermarket tutorial field trips with terrific success!!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask a fitness professional what their personal philosophy is on helping clients achieve their goals, ask if they specialize in a certain area, i.e., sport specific training, yoga, body building, women's health, you want a fitness professional who has experience with what you are looking for. Make sure too, that you feel comfortable with the person and you believe they are a good listener, this is huge! And always, always ask lots of questions! If you don't understand the logic behind something, ask about it! Fitness professionals wear a lot of hats but the first and biggest hat they wear is the Teacher hat.
