Exposing individuals to the power of reconstruction they hold within themselves through self-exploration motivates me. Watching a person's health evolution grants me excitement for more, and guiding them toward a better, more vigilant way of living on their own terms through health and wellness creates an inspirational feeling in me that I strongly believe is worth spreading.

The day I took my first spin class I had a breakthrough. During this vigorous routine I was in pensive thought. In the back of my mind, I could hear Christina telling me, ‘sit up straight,’ ‘make your spine like a telescope to the stars’ and, ‘you’re almost home, keep pushing,’ Until that moment, I hadn’t realized everything that Christina taught me. But this was a monumental and a turning point. I realized that I was engaging in exercise on my ‘off’ exercise day and more importantly, I have been given the gift of courage and belief. Prior to working with Christina, I would have scoffed at someone who asked me to exercise for fun. Prior to my experience with Christina, I may have attempted but wouldn’t have put any true effort into it. Christina taught me that hard work, dedication and small attainable goals not only help shape behaviors, but shape your mind, body and soul. She never judged my lack of exercise experience but rather met me at fitness level and helped me ascend and soar through various exercises. Christina was a vital and essential part of my transformation.

Christina is an awesome hands on trainer who goes beyond the workouts to help you change your whole lifestyle. She is constantly challenging me to push myself, and when she's not kicking my butt in the gym, she's schooling me on my nutrition. Honestly the best trainer I've ever worked with!

I trained with Christina 2 years ago with the goal of losing weight, toning my muscles, and eating healthier overall. She was amazing!! Her positive energy made working out and changing lifestyle habits fun. Now after just having a baby, I have been in need of some fitness motivation and refresher nutrition info, Christina was the first person I thought of!   • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I provide detail oriented, customized exercise programming tailored to the requests of my clients. I provide an education on the fundamentals of body change, habit change, behavior change, and nutritional change to deliver the best results possible. Active listening and emotional support are tantamount to building a trusting relationship with clients, something I believe in strongly. Besides exercise programming, and nutritional coaching, in the past I have provided cooking lessons and supermarket tutorial field trips with terrific success!!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Always ask a fitness professional what their personal philosophy is on helping clients achieve their goals, ask if they specialize in a certain area, i.e., sport specific training, yoga, body building, women's health, you want a fitness professional who has experience with what you are looking for. Make sure too, that you feel comfortable with the person and you believe they are a good listener, this is huge! And always, always ask lots of questions! If you don't understand the logic behind something, ask about it! Fitness professionals wear a lot of hats but the first and biggest hat they wear is the Teacher hat.
