FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing on the low side as I feel that bodywork is not a luxury item, but a means to meet the relaxing state the body needs to maintain a healthy level of stress. We all experience a certain amount of stress on a daily basis and our modalities help to keep that balanced. My hourly rate is $60 and I address that on a personal basis for elderly and students.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down for a few minutes with a new client to see what their experience with massage has been. I offer an intuitive massage and by that I mean I listen to your body and work with what I find. The first massage is your body and mind creating a relationship with me,that is one of trust and non-judgement. From there we decide whether or not we are a match, if not I have other practitioners to refer to.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed massage therapist of over 750 hrs of related studies in the field. I am also a reiki shambala master practitioner, a yoga instructor and a labyrinth facilitator. We have created a 7-circuit classical labyrinth for walking in our backyard. We also hold monthly drumming circle.
