Introduction: I provide services that help allow the body, mind and spirit to regain and/or sustain balance. In this state we are more peaceful, allowing us to enjoy our lives more fully. Our minds are more clear, allowing us to make better decisions and communicate with more clarity. We return naturally to a healthy weight, our skin is clearer, our complexion radiant, and our choices support a sustainable relationship with the environment, one necessary for health and for life.
In my cooking I prepare everything from scratch using only the best quality, freshest, local and organic ingredients. Some of the ingredients I use are imported if it is the only source for quality.
I have been formally studying macrobiotics and related practices for over 10 years. A Level 4 graduate of Kushi Institute in Becket, MA I served as Head Cook and Cooking Class Assistant at the institute for 4 years followed by 2 years as Kitchen Manager and Head Chef. A graduate of The Academy of Massage & Bodywork in Bear, DE and Certified Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, I currently serve at the institute as a Teacher of energy exercises, cooking and a variety of health related topics as well as serving as the institute's Shiatsu Practitioner. In the Berkshires and the surrounding area I serve as a Personal Chef, Caterer, Cooking Teacher, Whole Health Macrobiotic Counselor and Reiki Practitioner.
